This was a humorous column I found in my ESPN Magazine this month. There are some funny ideas of things found in sports that we should incorporate (pun intended) into our workplaces. I like the retired phone extensions idea. I’ve got a couple ideas to add too.
Maybe we could take a page from hockey fans who don’t (re)enter the arena while the puck is in play. At the workplace nobody should enter my cubicle while I’m in the middle of an e-mail (or report, etc.).
Or how about if you’re behind on a deadline, you turn your shirt inside-out or wear your watch on the opposite wrist as a rally cap idea?
